September 2024, Tun Aminah, Johor Bahru — In conjunction with the Merdeka celebrations, the management of Taman Ungku Tun Aminah Terminal Bus & Taxi, in collaboration with Handal Indah Sdn. Bhd., launched a special promotion for myBASKonsesi and myBAS50 to passengers alighting and departing from this bustling terminal in Johor Bahru.

As part of this Merdeka-themed event, myBASKonsesi Card registration was offered free of charge, providing significant benefits to all passengers and the local community in the Taman Ungku Tun Aminah area.

This marks the first initiative by Handal Indah Sdn. Bhd., the Network Operator of myBAS Johor Bahru, to run a promotion at this terminal, aiming to ensure that all passengers and residents are aware of and can take advantage of the program. The registration counter was conveniently located at the Information Counter of Taman Ungku Tun Aminah Terminal, making it easy for everyone to register for myBASKonsesi, including the myBAS50 promotion.

This initiative represents a significant milestone in Johor Bahru’s transportation landscape, fostering a culture of public transport use and highlighting myBAS Johor Bahru’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions. With the growing interest in myBASKonsesi, Handal Indah has extended its operations to include this terminal as a permanent registration hub for myBASKonsesi and myBAS50.

The myBASKonsesi program is part of the Pas Transit myBAS initiative, managed by the Agensi Pengangkutan Awam Darat (APAD) under the Ministry of Transport Malaysia, aimed at providing affordable and accessible public transportation to the community.
