September 2024, Johor Bahru — The Marketing Team of Handal Indah Sdn. Bhd., the Network Operator for myBAS Johor Bahru, took part in the Merdeka Celebration event held at Dewan Raya, Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, from 9 AM to 2 PM.

The event was led by Yang Berhormat Marina Ibrahim and was attended by the residents of Taman Ungku Tun Aminah and nearby neighborhoods within the Skudai area.

As a transport service provider, myBAS Johor Bahru set up a registration counter for the community, allowing attendees to sign up for the myBASKonsesi program through the LUGO App, using their IC, or registering for a myBASKonsesi card for free. This initiative aims to provide the community with unlimited rides on myBAS Johor Bahru services.

YB Marina Ibrahim emphasized the importance of myBAS’s participation, highlighting that it is an excellent opportunity for residents to benefit from the myBASKonsesi, offering unlimited travel within the area thru all myBAS Johor Bahru Bus Services. She further encouraged the community to take advantage of the services for their convenience.

The event saw a promising turnout, with many attendees looking forward to future opportunities to register for myBASKonsesi at similar events.

The myBASKonsesi program is part of the Pas Transit myBAS initiative, managed by the Agensi Pengangkutan Awam Darat (APAD) under the Ministry of Transport Malaysia, aimed at providing affordable and accessible public transport to the community.
