Mid-Year Bonanza myBAS Johor Bahru Launches Registration Drive for myBAS50 and myBASKonsesi
Johor Bahru, July 8, 2024 – The Marketing Team of myBAS Johor Bahru has initiated a special Mid-Year Bonanza, inviting all Malaysian citizens to register for the myBAS50 and myBASKonsesi programs. This initiative aligns with the cashless movement led by the myBAS Johor Bahru operations in Johor.
The promotion runs from July 8 to July 29, 2024, providing three consecutive weeks for all qualified Malaysians to register and enjoy these benefits. During registration, applicant shall bring their Malaysian IC as well as their Person with Disabilities (OKU) card as an attachment to acquire either myBAS50 or myBASKonsesi.
Currently, the registration is available at selected ManjaLink and Causeway Link counters in Johor Bahru, excluding JB Sentral. But for this time around, everyone can proceed to Ground Floor level one of KSL City Mall in Johor Bahru to register for either myBAS50 or myBASKonsesi.
According to Mr. Sonny Peru Cosme, the PR and Marketing Specialist of Handal Indah Sdn Bhd and currently heading this roadshow initiative, “This is a fantastic opportunity for every Malaysian to register and enjoy the benefits of myBASKonsesi and myBAS50.”
Dhiaul Badri, the overall ground coordinator for this campaign, mentioned, “We anticipate launching more campaigns to ensure that all Malaysians can take advantage of the benefits offered by both myBAS50 and myBASKonsesi.
Launched in March 2023 by the Minister of Transportation, Yang Berhormat Tuan Anthony Loke, myBAS50 and myBASKonsesi were designed to offer unlimited free rides to all Malaysians under the Stage Bus Service Transformation program.
- myBAS50: Provides unlimited rides for 30 days on all myBAS Johor Bahru routes for just RM50 every 30 days using a Malaysian IC card or the LUGO app.
- myBASKonsesi: Offers unlimited rides for one year to students below 17 years old and for 360 days to senior citizens and persons with disabilities using their IC card, myBASKonsesi Card, or via the LUGO app.
Currently, myBAS Johor Bahru operates 18 routes covering five corridors in Johor: Pasir Gudang, Pontian, Masai, Kota Tinggi, and Kulai, which were launched in 2022.
