Connecting to various Causeway Link express bus services in Malaysia from Singapore made it easier by Transit Pass Card. By using Transit Pass Card, passengers can save up to 66% on their transport cost to get to their destinations in Malaysia.

Passengers will need to tap their Transit Pass Card on the bus card reader machine to access a FREE RIDE to any Causeway Link cross-border and shopping and leisure route buses to get to Larkin Sentral bus terminal in Johor Bahru and transit to selected Causeway Link express bus services in Malaysia such as Mersing, Batu Pahat, Melaka, and Kuala Lumpur.

This way of connectivity is securing each passenger to have a seat on either Mersing, Batu Pahat, Melaka, and Kuala Lumpur Causeway Link express bus services.  Having a FREE RIDE on all selected Causeway Link routes from Singapore to connect to Larkin bus terminal is an added customer support for every passenger to get connected to their destination without additional transportation cost.

The validity of the transit pass is divided into 2 rides. Each ride is valid for 24 hours upon card tapping. Once the first ride expired, the second ride will be automatically activated upon tapping at the card reader machine regardless of which date the card has been tapped. Once the first ride is used, the second ride must be used within the next 30 days.

Yes, the transit pass is still valid for use provided that you have not used your second token. Please be reminded that when you first use your Transit Pass Card, make sure to remember the time you’ve used the card. The first token of the card is only useable for first 24-hours for free bus ride. The second token will be activated automatically after you tapped the Transit Pass Card at the bus card reader machine on your journey back to Singapore. Once the first token is used, the second token must be used within the next 30 days.

The Transit Pass Card is not sold separately. It is an inclusive package with every purchase of Causeway Link two-way express bus ticket at the Causeway Link counter in IMM Singapore boarding from Johor Bahru Larkin bus terminal to Mersing, Batu Pahat, Melaka and Kuala Lumpur.

Transit Pass Card with Express bus ride to Malaysia is only available at the Causeway Link counter in IMM Singapore. Customer must purchase the ticket at the counter to receive the bus ticket including the transit pass card.

Passenger need to change original express bus ticket to boarding pass at Johor Bahru Larkin bus terminal ticketing counters 9 to14 within 30 minutes before bus departure time. The boarding pass from the ticketing counter contains QR code access to enter the entrance gate inside the terminal before proceeding to the bus platform.

Passenger need to change original express bus ticket to boarding pass at the Boarding Pass Counter A, F, G and H signboard in green color within 30 minutes before bus departure. The boarding pass from the ticketing counter contains QR code access to enter the entrance gate inside the terminal before proceeding to the bus platform.

Passenger need to change original express bus ticket to boarding pass at the Melaka Bus Terminal boarding pass counters 2,3 and 4 within 30 minutes before bus departure time.

Passenger must show their original Causeway Link express bus ticket to the bus driver or bus checker before the customer ticket should show to Singapore as well

Passenger need to proceed at the entrance gate for stage buses inside the Larkin Bus Terminal that goes to Singapore. Passengers just need to tap their transit pass to any of the Causeway Link cross-border buses that goes to Singapore. Bear in mind that upon tapping the card, the FREE RIDE can only be obtain within 24 hours.

There are two options for you to get to Singapore:

Option 1: From Larkin Bus Terminal, you must take Causeway Link CWL to go to CIQ 1st Link and transit to any Causeway Link CW1, CW2 or CW5 to get to your destination in Singapore.

You can switch to Causeway Link cross-border buses to cross the border to Singapore. Once you are in Woodlands Checkpoint, use only the following Causeway Link buses to connect to a specific destination. CW1 goes to Kranji MRT Station, CW2 to Queen Street Terminal and CW5 goes to Newton Circus.

Option 2: From Larkin Bus Terminal, you can take Causeway Link CW3E from Larkin Bus Terminal to go straight to CIQ Second Link. From CIQ Second Link, you can take any Causeway Link buses that goes cross-border such as CW3, CW4, CW4S, CW6 and CW7. Bear in mind that right after Tuas Checkpoint, you must only take the following buses based on your destination: CW3, CW4, CW4S to Jurong East Bus Interchange, CW6 to Boon Lay and CW7 to Tuas Link.

 

Yes. The Transit Pass can be used on any of the selected Causeway Link Bus Services in Johor Bahru and Singapore. The transit pass can be used to the following bus services: 

From 1st Link:

  • CW1: Kranji – CIQ 1st Link – Larkin
  • CW2: Queen Street – CIQ 1st Link – Larkin
  • – CIQ 1St Link
  • CWL: CIQ 1st Link – Larkin Sentral
  • LM1: JB Sentral – Larkin
  • JPO1: JB Sentral – Larkin – JPO
  • MV2: JB Sentral – The Mall Midvalley South Key
  • S1: KSL Shopping mall – JB Sentral

From 2nd Link:

  • CW3: Jurong East – CIQ 2nd Link – Larkin
  • CW3E: CIQ 2nd Link – Sunway Iskandar-  Larkin Bus Terminal
  • CW3L: CIQ 2nd Link – Perling Mall
  • CW3S: CIQ 2nd Link – TUTA Terminal

Transit Pass Card is only valid to travel to and from Singapore and Larkin bus terminal, Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The card is part of the package for every two-way express bus ticket purchased from IMM Singapore. All the bus fare within those selected Causeway Link cross-border and connecting bus services are FREE to every valid Transit Pass Card holder. The user just needs to tap the card on the card reader machine upon boarding the bus. 

No. Causeway Link Express bus ticket under this package is not refundable once sold.

Yes, you can change the two-way travelling trip. The transit pass card is considered Free of charge in order to provide better connectivity to express bus passengers boarding from Singapore transiting to Larkin Bus Terminal in Johor Bahru to connect to Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Batu Pahat and Mersing.

You are advised to contact our Customer Service Team at the IMM Mall Singapore to do the necessary adjustment before 3 working days on your preferred traveling date.

No. Transit Pass is for one time use only.

Estimated time of traveling to and from Singapore and Larkin Bus Terminal during off peak is 1 hour. For peak hours, the journey may take up to 3 hours depending on your destination(s) upon bus boarding. (Please refer to bus route information at the website www.causewaylink.com.my)

Any delay due to cross-border road condition to get to Larkin Bus Terminal that affects the passengers for not being able to catch the express bus departure time shall be considered as the full responsibility of the Transit Pass cardholder. Every cardholder shall anticipate the peak hours during the cross-border journey to avoid any circumstances.

Travel bus pass is valid for consecutive 2 days (48 hours) and 3 days (72 hours) unlimited ride with one token after the first tap. Transit pass has 2 tokens. Each token is valid for 24 hours after the first tap. Each token can be used in a separate date but not limited to more than one month.

No. Lost card cannot be replaced.

Yes. If the card cannot be used due to technical problem, it shall be replaced.

  1. If the Transit Pass card is wet or defective, it won’t be usable, no exchange can be made.
  2. If during payments, the card is either unusable, exchange can still be made.
  3. If card has already been used, no exchange can be made.
  • If the Transit Pass cannot be read, customer need to pay in cash on board, keep the bus ticket and approach our nearest Causeway Link counter or call our hotline number at 07-360 3344 for further assistance.

One Transit Pass is valid for 1 pax only.

No. Transit pass cannot converted to ManjaLink Card
