September 2024, Johor Bahru — Handal Indah Sdn. Bhd., the network operator of myBAS Johor Bahru, recently organized an educational and awareness campaign for students and faculty members of Maahad Tahfiz Sains Al Insyirah in Tampoi, Johor Bahru.

The event followed the students’ visit to the Johor Zoo, where the myBAS team assisted them in registering for the myBASKonsesi program and familiarized them with the myBAS Johor Bahru system.

A total of 28 students from the school successfully registered for myBASKonsesi, which grants them unlimited bus rides across all myBAS services in Johor Bahru. The campaign aimed to educate the students on how to use the myBASKonsesi card effectively, ensuring they can fully enjoy the benefits of this initiative from the federal level.

With the growing demand for myBASKonsesi, particularly among students under 17 years old, individuals with disabilities, and senior citizens, there has been increasing excitement about the advantages of this cashless payment system.

The Pas Transit myBAS initiative, which operates under the Sustainable Bus Service Transformation (SBST) program of the Agensi Pengangkutan Awam Darat (APAD) under the Ministry of Transport Malaysia, continues to encourage greater use of public transportation among Malaysians.

The session was highly informative for both the students and faculty members, helping them understand the process of using the myBASKonsesi card, how to renew it after expiration, and how to benefit from unlimited rides across myBAS Johor Bahru bus services.

This initiative is exclusively available to Malaysian citizens, and registration requires a valid Malaysian IC for program enrolment.

Through this event, Handal Indah Sdn. Bhd. continues to support the community by promoting public transport accessibility and sustainability in Johor Bahru.
