Handal Indah Heads myBAS Connectivity In Johor Bahru
Handal Indah support the launching of myBAS in Johor Bahru which was an initiative under the Federal Government via the Stage Bus Service Transformation (SBST) programme.
Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, Minister of Transport said that the bus will begin in March this year. It is expected to benefit 6.4 million people a year. This route will involve 128 units of the myBAS in Johor Bahru.
This service will be catering to 19 routes in five corridors in Johor namely Kota Tinggi, Masai, Kulai, Gelang Patah and Pontian.
The route network of this bus service is 1,052 km long and intervals are set between 20 to 30 minutes during peak hours, and 30 to 60 minutes off-peak.
Meanwhile, this project will also be involving 8 Electric Vehicle buses that will be running around the city centre area.
Handal Indah team will also be working with other local service operators in Johor Bahru to run myBAS in the above-mentioned 5 corridors.
The said launching was attended by Johor Caretaker Menteri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad.
