November 5, 2024, Johor Bahru – Country Garden Malaysia, in collaboration with Handal Indah Sdn. Bhd. (Causeway Link), is pleased to announce the official launch of the Causeway Link CG1 bus route, offering regular shuttle services between Danga Bay and JB Sentral. This strategic partnership provides an efficient, affordable, and reliable transportation option for residents of Country Garden Danga Bay and surrounding areas, making cross-border travel more convenient.

In the official ceremony held to celebrate this new service, key stakeholders were present, including the Yang Berhormat Ir. Ts. Mohamad Fazli Bin Mohamad Salleh, Chairman of the Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Infrastructure, and Communications of Johor State; Ms. Afiqah binti Ali, Public Relations Officer of the Johor Public Transport Corporation; Ms. Lim Chern Fang, Deputy Executive Director of Handal Indah Sdn. Bhd.; Mr Ir. Hj. Syarul Izam Bin Hj. Sarifudin, Vice President from Forest City, and Ms Fang Fang Director of Brand, Sales and Marketing of Country Garden Malaysia and Singapore.

As of November 1, 2024, the CG1 bus route officially commenced operations, with the first bus departing as early as 4:00 AM and the last at 11:00 PM, serving passengers during both morning and evening peak hours. The service provides a cost-effective fare of just RM1.50 per trip, making cross-border commuting faster and more economical for the residents and cross-border travelers.

Additionally, Country Garden residents and visitors can access convenient parking facilities at Beletime Mall, offering passengers a hassle-free option for parking before boarding the shuttle, easing the fatigue and stress of driving across the border.

The bus terminal is equipped with a 24-hour KK Mart, providing travelers with easy access to local food and beverages. This added convenience aims to enhance the overall travel experience for passengers, allowing them to purchase necessities for their journey swiftly and efficiently.

This collaboration between Country Garden Danga Bay and Causeway Link not only elevates the standard of living for local residents but also strengthens the transport connectivity of Country Garden’s projects to Singapore. With future plans for a high-speed rail (HSR) between Johor and Singapore, Country Garden Danga Bay is set to become an increasingly attractive destination for both residents and investors.
